The Garden Physiotherapy is located in Grande Prairie, Alberta. We serve the residents of our local city, as well as the surrounding communities of the broader Peace Region.

We provide physiotherapy treatment, vestibular therapy and guidance to our patients along their road to recovery and provide answers and empowerment through educating. Whether you are looking to return to sport, experience less pain, or find answers to your dizziness, The Garden Physiotherapy is your last stop.

Research-supported physiotherapy services include physiotherapy assessments, dry needling, car accident injury care, sports injury rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, and specialized concussion rehabilitation.

The Garden Physiotherapy clinic is for all ages of people seeking individualized physiotherapy, manual therapy techniques, and expert guidance to alleviate pain, stiffness, and recover from injury. We want you to understand your condition and feel empowered to take control of your health.

We believe that understanding and caring for our bodies are key to not only injury rehabilitation but also to injury prevention. We promote a preventative, active health care model to enhance quality of life and wellness.

Our mission is to provide expert, quality physiotherapy and education to guide people through their health journey and beyond.

Our vision is serving Northern Alberta and Northern BC as the leading hub for physiotherapy, vestibular therapy, and clinical education—where community thrives, knowledge is shared, and care is guided by research and experience. The Garden Physiotherapy is a trusted resource for healing, learning, and connection across our northern communities.

About Jacqueline

Jacqueline Henderson, physiotherapist and owner of The Garden Physiotherapy.

Jacqueline Henderson, Physiotherapist, Owner

Jacqueline is a physiotherapist in Grande Prairie with a passion for helping people move better, feel better, and get back to the life they enjoy. Her interest in how the body heals and adapts led her to complete a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria, followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta.

Since then, she has pursued extensive post-graduate training in areas that make a meaningful difference for her clients, including vestibular rehabilitation for dizziness and vertigo, concussion care, Gunn IMS (dry needling), rehabilitation pilates, and advanced manual therapy. As a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists (FCAMPT), Jacqueline has advanced certification in spinal manipulation and complex orthopedic treatment.

Jacqueline enjoys helping runners, athletes, and women navigating pregnancy and postpartum recovery. She is also known for working with more complex or persistent conditions, including dizziness and vertigo, post-concussion symptoms, motor vehicle accident injuries, headaches, elderly patients, and ongoing aches and pains. Her approach is always individualized—taking the time to understand the root cause, then helping YOU understand.

At The Garden Physiotherapy in Grande Prairie, Jacqueline provides one-on-one care in a private treatment room, combining hands-on physiotherapy, dry needling, education, and targeted exercise to help clients reach their goals.

Outside the clinic, she stays active running, camping, waterskiing, and gardening with her (busy) young family—bringing the same value of movement and balance into her everyday life.
